Frauen stehen im Mittelpunkt des neuen Theaterprogramms von voice male Ist es die Penopause? Liegt es am Machismus, der in einem solchen Männerclub immer um die Ecke lauert? Tatsache ist, dass sich die Herren von Voice Male gut auf Frauen verstehen. Musikalische Frauen, die der internationalen Musik ihren Stempel aufgedrückt haben, sind das Thema des brandneuen Theaterprogramms.

In Ladies first singen die Herren eine Ode an ihre Lieblingsfrauen. Frauen, die sie gefüttert, gerührt, bewegt, verstimmt, verführt, umschmeichelt haben ... mit ihrer zeitlosen Musik. Titel, die von Frauen geschrieben oder interpretiert wurden, werden auf fachmännische Weise in ein A-cappella-Kleid gesteckt. Divas, Bitches, Schlampen, Mütter, Rock Chicks ... sie alle kommen in der Revue an die Reihe, auf einem Chaiselongue aus sechsstimmiger Harmonie. Sie wollen Namen? Madonna, Alicia Keys, Dalida, Christina Aguilera ... oder werden es doch die Spice Girls?

Aufgrund ihrer jahrelangen Erfahrung sowohl mit abendfüllenden Theatershows als auch mit Frauen garantiert auch diese Produktion wieder einen Abend lang Emotionen, Geselligkeit, Stimmung und die unvermeidlichen Blondinenwitze. Diese Herren sind nämlich so gut aufeinander eingespielt, dass sie in der Regel gleichzeitig menstruieren.

voice male is an a cappella group based in Antwerp (Belgium). It originated in the far end of the eighties, when six brave lads from the local cathedral choir got together after rehearsals and started to sing other tunes than the ones you would normally expect to hear in mass. It all got seriously out of hand, and now the boys – finally turned into men - are embarking on the umpteenth theatre tour which will bring them across several European countries.

In their new show, voice male is taking you on a journey through the wonderful world of cinema. Movie tunes of decades of cinematic emotions are coming your way as they hum, whistle and sing their way through Once upon a time in the West, 9 to 5, Toy Story, Moon river, Rocky and numerous other unforgettable melodies. "voice male at the movies" is music to the ears and eyes, as they plan to bring the big screen with them and share their very own first steps in method acting with their audience. An evening of musical entertainment with voice male is always combined with an element of fun and all sixs guys are lead by just one motto: to have fun on stage and to give the audience a good time. And they will, as they bring you back to the time where the back row of the movies was used for kissing.
